What Makes the Mini R Different
Most mini e-motos run 48V or 60V systems. The Mini R steps up to a 72V platform, the same voltage as E-Ride Pro's full-size bikes. That's where the extra punch comes from. You get 8 kW peak and 210 Nm at the wheel on a bike with a 26.7-inch seat height.
It also has two foot peg positions. E-Ride Pro designed it for both adults and younger riders, so you can set the pegs up for the person riding it. Straight-pull race rims and a headlight/taillight switch come standard.
Motor and Power
The motor is rated at 3 kW continuous and 8 kW peak, and it runs 0–30 mph in about 3 seconds. That's a lot of power for a 14/12-inch-wheel bike, so it's quick off the line and has plenty left for hills. It's not a toy. Newer riders should start slow and get comfortable with the throttle before opening it up.
Battery, Range and Charging
The 72V 30Ah pack holds 2,100 Wh and is swappable. E-Ride Pro rates it at 40+ miles at 20 mph and 80+ miles at 10 mph. Riding harder, climbing or carrying a heavier rider will lower that.
A 20%–90% charge takes about 2 hours, which is fast enough to top up between sessions at the track or campsite.
Suspension, Brakes and Chassis
Up front and out back you get adjustable FAST ACE sport suspension. Stopping is handled by mineral oil hydraulic brakes with a 203 mm front rotor and 180 mm rear rotor, plus regenerative braking. The 60/100-14 front and 80/100-12 rear tires are standard pit bike sizes, so replacement tires are easy to find.
Who the Mini R Is For
- Smaller and younger riders who have outgrown a kids' e-bike and want real power. Check the 143 lb max load first.
- Adults who want a pit bike for the track, the campground or the backyard.
- Families who want one bike that can be set up for different riders with the two peg positions.
Heavier riders (over 143 lbs) should look at a full-size bike like the E-Ride Pro S instead.
