E-Ride Pro SS 2.0 Upgrade Guide: What to Change First

The E-Ride Pro SS 2.0 is a solid bike out of the crate, but a few cheap changes make it a lot nicer to ride. This guide goes through upgrades in the order we'd actually do them on our own bikes: comfort and control first, then protection, then wear parts and extras. Everything linked below is listed for the SS 2.0.

Heads up: E-Ride Pro no longer makes the SS 2.0. We have a few left in stock, and this still applies if you already own one. Buying new? The SS 3.0 and 4.0 are the current models.

1. Cockpit and controls: do these first

The stock bar is low for most adult riders, and the stock pegs are narrow with almost no grip. These are the cheapest changes you can make, and you'll feel them the most.

  • Riser bar: the Warp 9 3in Rise Handlebar (31.8 mm clamp, 770 mm wide) puts the bar where taller riders can stand up and actually control the bike.
  • Grips: Scott Mellow Grips are a soft dual-density grip that cuts arm pump and vibration.
  • Footpegs: a wider peg with real teeth gives you a solid platform when you're standing. KKE Billet Footpegs fit the E-Ride Pro.

Want all of it at once? The E-Ride Pro SS Must Do First Upgrades (Tier 1) bundle includes the Warp 9 riser bar, Warp 9 footpegs and Scott Mellow grips.

2. Seat: comfort for longer rides

3. Protection: before the first big hit

The underside of the bike takes a beating on rocks and logs. Protect it before you find out the hard way.

4. Drivetrain and wear parts

These aren't flashy, but a worn chain and sprockets cost you power and can strand you on the trail.

5. Wheels and tires

The SS 2.0 runs 19-inch wheels with a 70/100-19 front and an 80/100-19 rear. If you split your time between dirt and pavement, a 17-inch supermoto setup turns it into a fun street bike. The KKE 17in Supermoto Wheels fit the SS 2.0 and accept your stock disc and sprocket. Browse more options in our wheels collection and e-moto tires.

6. Lighting and style

Bigger upgrades: brakes, suspension and power

Once the basics are sorted, the next step for aggressive riders is brakes (such as a moto-style Ultra Bee brake conversion), suspension and a controller upgrade. Those are bigger jobs with more fitment details to get right, so talk to us before you order.

Tips before you wrench

  • Check fitment on every product page. Parts for the SS 3.0/SR often don't fit the SS 2.0, especially brakes and sprockets.
  • Use blue thread locker on anything that vibrates, and re-check bolts after the first ride.
  • Do one change at a time so you can feel what each upgrade actually did.

You can find everything for your bike in our E-Ride Pro SS 1.0/2.0 parts collection. Questions about fitment? Email support@tbelectricmoto.com and a rider on our team will help. Most orders ship within 24 hours.
