Motor, Controller and Power

The EVO pairs a 52 kW-rated Ryuga PMSM motor with the Aetos Pro smart controller. It delivers 32 kW peak and 700 Nm, which is 4 kW more than the standard V1+. Ventus rates it at 87 mph. The controller has 450A overcurrent protection and an RS-485 communication system, and the bike gets over-the-air firmware updates. There's also a dedicated wheelie mode.

Battery, Range and Charging

The 72V 50Ah BK51 NCM pack is rated for 71 miles (115 km) at 25 mph (40 km/h). Charging takes about 4.2 hours. If you ride hard and use the full 32 kW, expect much less than the rated figure. That's true of every bike.

Chassis, Wheels and Suspension

The biggest visual change is the forged three-spoke aluminum wheels: a 19-inch front and a 16-inch rear (80/100-19 and 90/100-16). The 16-inch rear and the belt-plus-chain drive (HTD 8M primary belt and 420 secondary chain) are built for acceleration and wheelies.

Up front is a 775 mm RFloXa Hawk33 fork with a 45–60 lb spring and fully adjustable compression and rebound. Out back is an RFloXa RAB50RC shock with a 450 lb spring. Braking comes from LBN 4-piston calipers on 220 mm rotors at both ends, using the 95.5 mm brake mounting standard.
