The ultimate rear brake upgrade for your Talaria. This complete conversion bundle replaces your stock rear brake, stock rotor, and stock caliper mount with a full Ultra Bee moto-grade rear brake system AND integrates the Ebike Garage Footbrake using a single caliper setup.

Using the Ebike Garage pass-through footbrake design, both your hand brake and footbrake connect directly to the footbrake master cylinder and operate a single Ultra Bee rear caliper — giving you true moto-level stopping power with full hand and foot brake control.

If you're running more power, riding aggressively, or want true moto-grade braking performance and control, this is the complete rear brake solution.

📌 MX5 Note — This Kit Is Optional

Since the Talaria Sting MX5 already comes equipped with DOT4 brakes, with the correct hoses, you can run the Ebike Garage Footbrake with your stock MX5 brakes. This full conversion kit is only needed if you want to upgrade to Ultra Bee brakes for stronger moto-grade rear braking performance. If you only want to add a footbrake to your stock setup, you don't need this complete kit.

• Single Caliper — Hand + Foot Brake  (this kit)— One Ultra Bee rear caliper actuated by both your handbrake AND footbrake. Clean setup, full braking control from either input.
• Dual Caliper — Hand + Foot Brake  — Two independent Ultra Bee rear calipers: one for the handbrake, one for the footbrake. Fully separated systems for maximum redundancy and braking power.
• Footbrake Only — Single Ultra Bee rear caliper actuated by the footbrake only. Handbrake is removed entirely for a clean, dedicated foot-operated rear brake.
• Stock Brakes - you can run the footbrake on the stock brakes as a footbrake only or footbrake and handbrake on the same stock caliper.

This is the complete rear-only conversion kit — everything you need in one bundle.

How the Kit Works

This kit replaces your stock rear brake, stock rear rotor, and stock caliper mount, and replaces them with:

1. The Ebike Garage rear bracket / rotor guard
2. The 230mm Ebike Garage floating moto rotor
3. The Sur-Ron Ultra Bee rear brake (caliper, master cylinder, and hose)
4. The Ebike Garage Footbrake with pass-through master cylinder

The system uses a single Ultra Bee rear caliper. Thanks to the Ebike Garage pass-through footbrake design, the hand brake and caliper both connect straight to the footbrake master cylinder — giving you full hand + foot brake control of one powerful rear caliper.

How It Connects (Hose Routing)

You'll end up with two hoses running to the footbrake master cylinder:

1. Free M10 hose → from the footbrake master cylinder to the rear caliper. This is the new dedicated line that feeds the Ultra Bee caliper from the footbrake.
2. Stock Ultra Bee hose → from the handbrake to the footbrake master cylinder. Disconnect the included Ultra Bee hose from the rear caliper and re-route it so it runs from the handbrake into the footbrake cylinder's pass-through port.

The result: the handbrake feeds into the footbrake cylinder, and the footbrake cylinder feeds the rear caliper — so either lever (or pedal) actuates the same Ultra Bee caliper.
