Range: Our Real Test Results
We test every bike the same way. Eco mode is held at about 27 mph and sport mode at about 50 mph until the battery dies. The Falcon GT did:

We'll be straight with you: that surprised us. It's lower than other bikes with the same size battery, and it placed 21st on our range test chart. A bike with a 30Ah battery, 33% smaller than the GT's 40Ah pack, barely beat it. Most riders don't hold 50 mph until the battery dies, so trail range will look different. But if range is your top priority, look at our chart before you buy.
Motor and Power
This is where the GT earns its spot at the top of the 79Bike lineup. The 16 kW peak mid-mounted motor and 610 Nm of torque are a big step up from the 10 kW Falcon Pro and Lynx. The FOC controller gives smooth, precise throttle response. Integrated electronic braking adds control on descents.
Chassis, Brakes and Features
The GT rides on a 19-inch front and 18-inch rear (70/100-19 and 90/90-18). It has a Fastace fork with upgraded tuning adjustments and 220 mm rotors at both ends (2.8 mm thick). The 820 mm (32.3-inch) seat height works for a wide range of riders. A big, upgraded display with NFC unlock lets you start the bike with a tap of your phone.
